Kelsie Liechty Character Line-up

Working on the rest of the color right now.

This crew was based around my adventurer (the girl).

Girl: The honor student. Intellectual and methodical. Sticks to the book.

Boy: A good student but self-reliant and values intuition.

Rodent: The black sheep among his tribe. A calm peaceful soul that would rather live his life in floral nature than stuck in the mines.

Kelsie Liechty Assinment #9

I am very much a line person so I decided to emulate someone from the shape side of the triangle. I chose Maike Plenzke:

I think part of what makes her work appealing is the use of texture and shapes. There's a fun dynamic with brush strokes and also shadows that are clean shapes. I tried this out in my emulation. She's also just great with her choice in color. It's all very rich. I went with a complimentary color scheme with mine.

Kelsie Liechty Assignment #6

Dr. Morgan Chima was once a gentle mannered but somewhat vain Geneticist. She devoted herself to studying the genetic traits of various animals and how and if they could be integrated into human biology. In a scuffle with a burglar, Morgan was exposed to multiple beta serums. While retaining most of her human features much of her changed including her once perfect nose which now reflects that of a hummingbird's. She hides it with a plague mask out of disgust at the new appendage. Distraught with her predicament and a rage of animal instincts driving her mad she aims to make more like herself or at least make others as miserable as she is.

Kelsie Liechty

Italian Renaissance

I researched the style of clothing more than the actual chefs themselves so my interpretation is probably a bit off. I'd say maybe she is a wealthy chef and can dress in more extravagant clothing. There were too many beautiful dresses not to give her one!
