Amy Clegg Assignment #6

...Bet you didn't know that Prince Charming used to be a scientist!

Yup, it's a wonderful fairytale, but did they ever tell us how the prince became a frog in the first place??? Well, maybe, but this is the REAL story-
Cho Ming was one of the lead scientists in China at the time. He had studied long and hard, and was finally rising to the forefront of his career. As a rising celebrity in the science world, many thought he would be the one to finally end the outbreak of insects that had ravaged the country for the last century. Cho was elected by the emperor to join his team of scientists in a search for bug repellent strong enough to rid China of all insects.
Well, Cho was a good guy, but he had his pride- he wanted to be the first to discover the cure! After much individual research, he snuck into the lab late one night with some amphibious samples to get a head start on his coworkers... while fumbling in the dark, one sample bumped into another, a spark was lit, the explosion went off, and here we are:

Prince Cho-ming.

Evil Scientist—Natalie Hansen

This is Dr. Russell Hunter. He is an epidemiologist, or a scientist of the spread of disease. He was bullied when he was younger. While still carrying a deep sense of inferiority and cynicism growing up, and being generally untrusting of people, he worked hard and was successful in his career goals. So successful that he was entrusted with studying and keeping a deadly and highly contagious disease that causes all those who are infected to die slow painful deaths. Unfortunately at this time Dr. Russell also got mercury poisoning and become mentally insane. His distrust of people became a full-blown belief that people were out to get him. He decides in his madness that mankind must be destroyed and that he will use his deadly viruses to infect the world.

Mad scientist

Egyptian witch doctor. Obsessed with death. She claims that her work allows the pharaoh's to live on in the eternities, when really that is a cover up for the work she is actually doing, which is done in complete secret.

Ethan Wilkins Evil Scientist

My image isn't uploading, but I have two ideas.

First:

An 18 year old girl returning back to her senior year gaining weight over summer and becoming suddenly unpopular. Since all her popular friends abandoned her, she is stuck to hang out with the nerdier student body (consisting of math geeks, science people etc). As the year progresses she becomes overwhelmed with anger since her senior year is full of staying at home while her old friends party hard. She then uses her new friends and newly acquired science skills to create a concoction that will make all the student body fall back in love with her. (she resorts to this since all of her previous weight lost attempts are impossible) She's not really an evil villain, just a narcissistic teenager sick of unpopularity. She can change into a good character, but this comes once she goes to college and leaves her high school.

Second:

A father who has three children and practices biological science for the state government. His oldest child is killed in an accident, and he becomes overcome with grief. His other children beg for his attention as time moves on, but he is so depressed that he decides that he will quit is job and spend all his time trying to bring back his oldest child to life. He's not an evil villain either, just a misguided and struggling person. He doesn't have a chance to change unfortunately. His mind is already overrun with madness.

Amber Stotts

My evil scientist is an early 20th century Oxford science student, Hugh Conyngham. He is a bit naive and arrogant, thinking he will be safe in the laboratory all alone late at night. But, unfortunately for him, his genetics experiment goes wrong and he turns himself into a sort of demon monster that has no conscience and only wants one thing: blood. He rampages around the campus, feeding on innocent students, and bringing terror into everyone's hearts. Frantically searching for the cure, the professors at Oxford get eaten one by one, until finally, one is able to capture him and put an end to Hugh's suffering.

Kyle Mills Assignment #6

Dr. Xavier Crall is a biophysicist who has a fascination with death. In a recent experimentation he was able to bring breath back into a recently deceased. Unable to receive financial backing to further his research, he turns to the black market. Dr. Crall and a warlord begin to harvest an army of dead.

Evil Scientist

My evil scientist is a botanist, so he works with plants. He is trying to grow vines with poisonous thorns that are voice activated, and plant them around his house. His wife was killed by two burglerers, and he doesn't want to same fate to happen to his only daughter, which is why he's trying to grow these dangerous plants. The government thinks they are too dangerous to make, because someone could use the deadly vines the wrong way, so they've made him an enemy of the state, forcing him to do his work in secret.

Rebeca Alvarez- Assignment #6

Dr. Carlos Cuervo is a geneticist with an interest in animals, specifically the crow. His last name means crow in Spanish mainly because his family was known for taking care of them and learning about them for many years. His obsession with them began when he was a young boy. Tragedy struck his life when he was 10 years old, his family was killed by an extremist animal protection gang (kind of like PETA?) trying to set their crows free. He was then left alone with them and decided to pursue a degree in the sciences in order to experiment with the crows, until he slowly became "one of them". His main goal is to exterminate that group that killed his family, no matter who gets in the way. He is an evil scientist because his perception of reality is gone and he is more beast like in his behavior with others .
(I hope this makes sense..)

Dr. Acquati

Dr. Acquati is a marine biologist. As a graduate student he worked with a professor who was convinced that octopuses are an intelligent species comparable to humans and was trying to communicate with them. The project initially failed, but Acquati still believed in it and carried on the work in secret. Eventually he established communication, and discovered that the octopuses are intelligent. He identified with them: they were intelligent, antisocial, and miss understood, and so was he. They often told him that humans were a lesser species and were ruining the planet, and helped him cook up a plot to get rid of them; Dr. Acquati would take to the sea with his eight-legged friends and poison the earth’s atmosphere to kill everyone without gills.
He is now in the final stages of his plan. Using octopus DNA he has changed his own berating, and is barely able to survive on land with the help of the special tank, but he has surfaced one last time to gather anyone who may be willing to follow him into the deep.

Kelsie Liechty Assignment #6

Dr. Morgan Chima was once a gentle mannered but somewhat vain Geneticist. She devoted herself to studying the genetic traits of various animals and how and if they could be integrated into human biology. In a scuffle with a burglar, Morgan was exposed to multiple beta serums. While retaining most of her human features much of her changed including her once perfect nose which now reflects that of a hummingbird's. She hides it with a plague mask out of disgust at the new appendage. Distraught with her predicament and a rage of animal instincts driving her mad she aims to make more like herself or at least make others as miserable as she is.

Brian Clayton, Assignment #6

Dr. Narasca is an unfortunate soul.  When he was a freshman in college, he was going to pursue a career in ballet.  However, after a very unfortunate week where he got no sleep, one of his competitors used his lowered state of awareness to lull him off stage while he was dancing.  He fell and got injured.  After this, he swore he would learn how to take advantage of his enemy by lowering his mental capacities.  His bitterness spiraled downward and he dedicated his college days to the study of neurological science. He now spends every moment he can get determining how to take control of others.  He has just made an amazing breakthrough that may be universal and help him get revenge.

Stacey Sleight - "Mad" Scientist

"I won fair and square! You just lost because you're dealing with a SCIENTIST!"

Or.... that's what she calls it.

Jessie Contessa (Or... Jessie the Messy as the other kids call her) is a self-proclaimed chemist. While her father has an actual degree in chemistry, dealing with radioactivity in his field of work, Jessie merely acts as her father's shadow when it comes to her knowledge of things radon, radium, and uranium. Yet..... she managed to win every science fair so far. How?

"Only a SCIENTIST can hold this stuff! This is my special, secret chemical. It's my ticket to this year's science fair ribbon!"

Take-your-child-to-work- Day is a real biohazard with Jessie. After sneaking some of the radioactive waste from her Dad's work, she'll drip a drop or so on whatever victim she chooses. Dogs grow more eyes, birds gain a second pair of wings, and flowers can suddenly eat an unsuspecting 4th grader for lunch. Jessie sees no harm in her "advantage" and anyone foolish enough to take her on will have to deal with whatever rolls out of the toxic waste dump.

No wonder the kids think she has a third eye in the back of her head...

Evil Scientist

Meet Dr. Maya Richardson. She was (is) an accomplished Lepidopterist - a scientist who studies butterflies - who got fed up with the government because they never listened to her proposals to save endangered populations of butterflies. After dabbling in some Amazonian tribal magic she has accidentally begun to turn herself into a butterfly. These days she spends her time in the rainforest scaring off anyone who comes near her precious butterfly populations.

Rachel Sackett- evil scientist

He's a geneticist.
Recently some patents over DNA segments held by Myriad genetics were overturned. With this news he decided to get into some biological warfare, so he's been stealing stuff from work. He is also on the lookout for people to buy his work, as he doesn't want to be a distributor.

It's like 80 degrees in a testing lab like his.

Ginger Dall Assignment 6

Meet Dr. Leektinstein!

He grew up on a farm, and loved the land so much that he became an "agronomist" (someone that specializes in soil and crops). For years he experimented on genetically engineering vegetables, and often ate his creations... which led to his demise! DUH DUH DUH. Over time, his mind became more and more warped, leading him to create a humanoid-vegetable army to take over the world... or at least to tear down the ugly cities that should- in his mind- be farmland. However, he still has remnants of the peaceful farmer in him, and does not want to hurt anyone. In the end, as his creations get out of his control and begin to threaten the human population, I suspect he will find a way to destroy what he created.

Dr. Leektinstein is quirky and a bit on the one-track-mind side (not thinking about consequences). He is definitely single, and socializes mostly with his plant-minions. His parents passed away, and so he inherited the family farm, where he keeps his "secret" lab.
