Brian Clayton--Assignment #9

Rather than picking a specific artist and trying to emulate their style, I tried the Jake Parker method, and explored with a variety designs you can get with just the same character.  I played with line, form, and shape.  I think I generally focus on line when I do my drawings.  When I found myself playing with shape (the last drawing) I found that it was the most fun I had out of the ways I tried.  I focused first on shape, then I added a bit of texture and really enjoyed creating in a way that I had never done before.  I also noticed different things when it comes to line. Not only can line thickness affect design, but also line color.  Anyway, here are my different attempts.
